Station information GNSS
The CatNet network has permanent stations operating, which constantly collect data from the different GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) constellations, second after second, 24 hours a day. These data are stored and distributed to the public through different positioning services, both in real time and for post-processing.
The data from all the stations combine to produce a network solution that allows to determine the spatial component of ionospheric, tropospheric and geometric errors that affect the GPS signal, in order to determine a set of virtual observables anywhere in Catalonia. Thanks to this technique, users are able to use these services to work with a single receiver to position themselves accurately in Catalonia.
